Quiet Holiday

We had such a nice day with the grandson today. We took Lois to the mall and did a little shopping. Found a new pair of sandals for her that were just perfect.

I've gotten 2 of the golf cloths done for my sister-in-law Lorie. I am hoping to have 4 complete cloth and towel sets done for her by September.

My February Lady sweater is coming along nicely. I hope to be able to start on the sleeves soon. Although started in February of this year, I think it may be a November Lady sweater. I have a sock pattern to knit to match the sweater. They won't take me near as long as the sweater has. The set is going to be a lovely addition to my work clothes.

Fun Day at the Game

Had a blast at the baseball game today. Stitch N Pitch tote bags, knitting, new yarn. Had some good food, met some terrific fellow knitters/crocheters. Hope to do it all again next year.

Busy Knitter

This past weekend we went to Craig's mom's. I finished the Squidge dishcloth on the way down and then started the Flying Geese cloth. They turned out very nice.

I really love the swimming pool color of this cloth.
The Flying Geese cloth came out really cool. I was afraid it would be pretty bland because the ball of yarn was all muted soft gold, beige and sage green. It turned out very lovely.

The Harley motorcycle cloth is a gift for Craig. I hope it's bright enough orange for him!!

My knit along group is doing a Baby Fern dishcloth this week. I chose a brown & peach varigated cotton. I think I should have chose a solid color instead of the brown & peach varigated, but I'm only half finished. Guess you will have to wait until later to see!!
Hope everyone has a great week.

New Knitted Dishcloths

Here are my latest dishcloths knitted from patterns on my Ravelry knitting group. I think they turned out pretty well. The green one is called Waffle Weave. The other one is the Scallop pattern. Right now I'm knitting a Squidge dishcloth in shaded aqua. It's turning out pretty cool too.

Craig painted our livingroom this week. We chose a Behr paint called Stone Brown. It's a very comforting color. We are going to replace the trim and paint it an eggshell color. I'll have to take some pictures and "Show & Tell" when we are finished.

I hope everyone had an nice Memorial Day weekend. It was very nice here. The temperature was in the eighties. This weekend they are supposed to be around a hundred. Thank goodness for air conditioning.

I also finished a ballband swiffer cover. Here is my picture of the cover. I've made 4 of these so far. I sent my mom a couple of them. I think she will use them instead of those throw away swiffer sheets.
